I graduated high school in 1968. I've always said that my "Mr Right" must've gotten killed in Vietnam, as I never met him. This was a war that affected a lot of people. Thanks for the information. I'm finally ready to read about it.

I was in the 22nd TASS at Binh Thuy AB 1966-1967. Its hard to believe its been 30 years. I'd like to go back and see it again. I hope what we went through will enable us to help those guys coming back from Afganistan abd Iraq. I've talked to several already and I see the same lonliness and confusion in their eyes that was in ours.

I served in Viet Nam from 69-70 in the USN. I was first stationed at Tien Sha (outside DaNang), was transferred to the Sand Ramp at Chu Lai, and ended up back at Tien Sha. I left country in July '70. I actually retired from the USAF in '91. I currently work at the Milwaukee VA in the outpatient mental health clinic and have quite a few of our brothers on my case load. I stumbled across this web site just surfing the web and plan to learn more and, if possible, lend a hand.

I was 16 the year the war ended. My cousin, Richard Radford had recently returned from the war - a very changed young man. Within a few months, he died in a motorcycle accident. His is technically not a military death, but never the less, the war killed him. I have missed him every day from the moment he was deployed to South East Asia.
God Bless all who managed to survive, on both sides. God bless the good work you do.

I thought this is a great website to find things out on Vietnam War. I would like to thank all of you veterans out there for being brave and going to fight for the protection of our country even though we should not have fought in that war in my opinion. This site was really good for my research project on Vietnam and my teacher gave me a 100% and i thank it all to this site.
I SALUTE ALL OF YOU!!!!!!

Was in Vietnam from November 1967 through November 1968. Assigned to the 20th Preventive Medicine Unit, was at the 926th Med. Det. in Chu Lai, which was administratively attached to the 2nd Surgical Hospital, from Nov. '67-Apr '68. Got to know many of the DustOff pilots and crew there - the greatest/gutsiest guys imaginable. Was at 20th PMU HQs in Bien Hoa remainder of tour. Often wonder what it would be like to go back.
